I am looking to replace my factory speakers and eventually the h/u (along with a "small" amp) and was wondering if anybody knows the factory speaker sizes/ratings so I know what to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the base Altima sedan with AM/FM/CD w/o steering wheel controls.

Factory replacement info:

In-dash stereo 8 7/8" depth; Size code DD,E

Front speakers Dash: 3-1/2" Front Door: 6-1/2" factory speaker note

Rear speakers Rear Deck: 6x9"

I'm thinking of going with these as a replacement:Dash:Boston Acoustics S35 : http://www.crutchfield.com/p_0...html

Front Door: Infinity Kappa 50.9cs: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1....html|or|Polk Audio db5251: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1....html

Rear Deck:Infinity Kappa 693.9i: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1....html |or|Polk Audio db691: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1....html

I'd take the Polks over the Infinitys any day. The dash speaker is a 3" tweeter, so if you get a set of separates, just put the tweeter in the dash and you are all set.
