Hi all,

So I can see in doing the fog light install that there are wires already located at the fog light spots. My question though is where does the other end of those wires terminate? And do I need to do anything to get power to those wires?

Cheers.

i posted this same question a couple of weeks ago and can't seem to find anyone to respond...i have a 2.5S and couldn't find the factory wires...where did you find yours? i purchased original equipment fogs off of ebay and just installed the lights themselves tonight...pretty easy...i know you have to purchase the turn signal/ light switch from nissan and replace the regular one on the steering column in order to turn them on...I think...hopefully somebody knows.

I think this topic may have been covered in earlier posts. That's probably why there is a lack of response.Having said that, I installed OEM fogs in my 06 Altima. It should be the same process for the 07, I would think. The wiring and circuitry is already there. There is no need to do any more wiring.Just install the lights behind the bumper, plug them in, and then change out the headlight/turn signal assembly. The turn signal assembly is a 5 minute job.Just remove the top cover from the steering column (3 screws for mine), and pop out the assembly.Mine was dead easy. Hope this helps.

You can find the connectors near the area of the fog light holes. For the one on the driver side, you may have to fish it out. Just follow the wires from the radiator out to the general fog light area and you should see it.

As a side note, anyone know where I can get a good (by which I mean quickly and cheaply) steering column switch?

Cheers.

You have to go OEM for the steering column switch assembly. That is not something you'll find at Canadian Tire.Price it out at the dealer and then check a few web sites.I got mine from CourtesyParts.com in Texas.Half the price. Good luck. They also have the install instructions that you can print out, even if you don't buy from them.

Are you saying if I get OEM stalk my fog should works , mine is pre-wired. I did before on my 04 altima put oem stalk works great. But according to local Nissan dealer said that fog lamp installed can't be done due to the switch, then I ordered from U.S, so lets see what happened. What year and model aof ALtima do you have Buzz?

For those of you who have installed oem fog lights on either the 07 or 08 altima, do I have to order the screw that holds the light in place or is the screw already there holding in the blank plastice piece? I got my lights today and realized it didn't come with an screws. Just wanted to know if I needed to order the screws since I'd like to install them this weekend. Thanks.
