2007 Altima Aftermarket Stereo Issues???

Altima 2.5S Non Bose Factory

I recently replaced the factory system with a Pioneer, and it started overheating. So, I had the stereo shop swap it out for an Eclipse/TomTom, and it's still having the same issue. CD will get hot after 45 minutes, start skipping, and speakers will start distorting...they can't figure out what's going on. 2 bad head units? Apparently, the wiring tested ok and was installed correctly (went to another place to verify)...The guy said there was plenty of room back there and was getting plenty of ventilation..they even put a CPU Fan back there...and still the problem. Could it be the speakers themselves? Also had the orange lights on the driving console go out (lights under the D, R, N/shifter etc.). Any thoughts?
