Symptoms:
1. Sometimes it'll start but then will sputter and die within 1 or 2 seconds.
2. Sometimes it'll just crank and crank and crank but won't start. Been sitting in garage for a week now...

Before the problem:
1. I forgot I left the headlights on so battery died.
2. Jumpstart but won't work, even tried to crank and pump gas pedal at the same time. I heard this will flood the engine?

What I've done:
1. Replaced new battery. Tightened up all the wires.
2. Check fuses
3. I can hear fuel pump working when I put key on ON position.
4. I know it's not the key fob or safety anti theft issue, bcus red light off when I put key on ON position
5. Depressed gas pedal then try to turn it on.

I don't think the alternator or starter are bad right? Bcus if it is then car wouldnt sometimes start then shut off immediately and sometimes just crank only.

Have you checked for spark? Pull off a plug wire, lay it near the valve cover, and have someone crank the engine. See if you can view the spark arcing.

Thanks Ray, you beat me to what I had in mind. It would be great (not to mention an easy fix) if it's just a faulty/fouled plug.

Has nothing to do with your starter or alternator. Step one is pull the codes, if you don't have an OBD2 code scanner, borrow one, many parts store will loan them with a deposit. My first suspect would be the NATS antenna which seems to eba common issue but if thats the problem it won't throw a code and you'll have to go to the dealer. Could be Crank angle sensor, it can fail intermittently.

So I checked fuel, sparks, fuses etc... everything good. Cleaned out the throttle body and now car will start and idle, but if I press on gas rpm won't change and if I put in gear the car will shut off. Any inputs?

Have you checked for codes? Could be the pedal, could be the TPS. The fact taht you just cleaned the TPS makes me suspect the tps, check the plug make sure it's getting good contact and no moisture is in the plug.

So three different codes that all point to the TPS, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say your TPS is bad, lets hope replacing the TPS clears up the ecu code

If you haven't already it's worth a shot and cost is zero$. I haven't checked the price on the TPS not even sure if it's sold separately or if you have to buy a complete TB. You should definitely clean and check the connectors before throwing parts on.
