Has anyone found a fog light kit that fits & works on the 2007 / 2008 Sentras? I bought mine in 2006 so it didn't come with the fog lights and the 2 spots on the car really looks like it's missing something.... Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

All I did was put some Homemade Smiley Faces in the two holes to keep it from looking too plain. People loved them for some reason. Of course, I recently bought the fog lights cause I still think they will look cooler.

I ordered some Halo Foglights for mine and should have them installed by Tuesday afternoon. They are really good quality lights too. I'll post up some pix when they are done.

Whatever you do, do not get them from the dealership. They charge 300 for the lights themselves. Ridiculous.

Thanks for the reply. Where did you get the Halo foglights from? If you can post pics, that'd be nice. Did you install it yourself or have a shop do it and how much did it cost you? Did you have to cut the existing plastic? Thanks.

This is where I bought mine from. They cost me like 50 bucks and like 10 for shipping. They seem like really good quality lights. I haven't had them installed yet so I wouldn't recommend buying them just yet. I will have them installed on Tuesday and I'll let you know how they turn out.

I bought the same kit from Ebay, about 7 months ago. There are still sitting in the trunk of my sentra. I was told that if you had purchased an 07 sentra without the kit, that there some electrical problems that might be encountered. The 07 sentra 2.0 does no come with a detachable cover where the fog lights go. I looked at it from behind, when I lifted my car and its all one piece. The 2008+ come with the removable cover.

The only thing I found troublesome about mounting the kit myself was the cables that goes through the firewall must be disconnected from one end of the plugs. It is a tight fit. So I backed down. Also, I didn't like the on/off switch. It's gehtto.

Well thats only my opinion.

Well, the fog lights are finally installed. The technician dropped and cracked the left fog light, but you can't really tell unless you are really close (Because he dropped it, they didn't charge me for installation). I'm really satisfied with the way it came out. I only took pics of the red and green halo colors but there are several other colors that looks just as sick. The actual fog lights are ridiculously bright! I'm really pleased!

Here are the pics of the finished fog lights:

Dude! those fog lights look sweet! How much was it to install them if the technician didn't crack the light? Do the lights automatically change colors or how does it work? Is there a new switch that they install in the interior or do the fog lights turn on when you have the head lights? The HID head lights look nice too. Which kit did you use for those?

Oh and just curious if you have a close up pic of those homemade smilies prior to getting fog lights installed. They look like fake lamps from this pic and I might want to try this in the meantime. haha

I believe it would have been 200-245 for installation if they hadn't of broken it. I'm pretty sure you can find cheaper places than that, but they are like the only place over here that would have installed them for me. But they said if I can get the replacement light for it, they would remove the broken fog light and install the new one at no cost. Basically, I lucked out, lol.

As for the lights, they come with a little switch that has 3 buttons. One of them turns on/off the fog lights, the other one changes the colors (it has a little LED light on the switch so you know which color you are using), and the main power button. Yeah, the switch is installed in the interior so you can turn the fog lights on and off whenever you desire.

As for the HID's, I really don't know what kit I used. My best friend bought them for me as a birthday present and she had them installed for me. I'll ask her though and I'll let you know.

As for the Smilies, I used some type of thin cardboard (Yes, cardboard, lol). I used a Nintendo Gamecube disc to shape the cardboard (The GC disc works perfectly and fits right into the fog light slot), then I drew the smiley faces on myself. Put some velcro on the back of the cardboard and it stayed on perfectly. I never once had them fall off or anything like that. The velcro is really easy to take off if you don't want them anymore. You can put your own design in there also. I also used the Gears of War skulls in the slots after I got tired of the smiley faces (Just like in the pic gforever posted up in the previous post). But use tape or something to cover the front of the cardboard. It keeps the cardboard from getting dirty and it makes them easy to clean. It worked really well and people loved them for some reason! If you have any more questions, just ask me.

Did the mechanic cut the inserts for the fog light or did they pop off?

The place I had my spoiler done says it'll be about $300 to install the HID head and fog lights. So if I pick up the HID kit for $115, and halo fog lights for $60, that's like $475!!! crap.....

NicholaiGinovaef, do you mind posting a pic of the switch? I'm just curious to see how it looks. I think I'll have these installed in July... Gotta save now.....

Yeah, I'll post up a pic. I have to say, the switch does feel kinda cheap, but I just removed the cover and it's so much easier to turn on/off the lights. Looks cooler too, lol.

Yea same with me! I really like that blue running / parking light. NicholaiGinovaef could you help us out? Also, did you have a chance to get a pic of the switch and a pic of the fog lights off during the day? Do you know if your technician had to cut the bumper to install the fogs? Many thanks!

Hey, Sorry I haven't responded to any of your questions lately. I'm currently out of town in Las Vegas and this is my first time to get ahold of a computer with internet. I've already taken some pictures of the foglights in midday and some of the switch. I will be back home by tomorrow so I'll post up the pics the first chance I get.

Anyhoo, as for the parking lights, yeah, you can buy them at Pepboys or Autozone or whatever. The places in El Paso didn't carry any of the right size bulbs for my car, so I just ordered them off of Ebay. My Parking lights are not blue though, they are Xenon White. They do have a light blue hint to them though. The parking lights use T15 lights bulbs which you can find on Ebay or wherever.

No, the technicians did not have to cut the bumper to install the foglights.

Also, I already ordered my lowering kit. I should have it by the time I get back home. I'll have them installed and then I'll post up pix later.

Here are the pix of the lights during the day and the switch for the fogs (On the switch, I removed the housing as you can tell. It was kinda cheap and it was just easier to push the buttons without the housing). I also included a pic of my front fender (It's kinda bad quality but you can still see the scratches if you look carefully). When I got back from Vegas I noticed all the decals on my car were scratched off and the whole left side of my car was keyed. It looks so awful (Just imagine all the scratches that you see on the fender, all over the rest of the left side of the car). I'm going to have to get a new paint job for the whole left side of my car... D:

Installed them yesterday. Looks good. Too bad about your scratches. Have you tried polishing them off. They will if they're not too deep.

Good luck.

You can get the fog lights found in the above pictures on eBay. The seller has tons of them. Here's asample listing.

As to install them, I dunno. My bumper requires the fog light holes to be cut out. That might be the hardest part....

I got the fogs installed but the driver side cracked less than 5 days. So durability isn't that good. At the time, I haven't even wired them up yet. Looks like the halos don't fully work as I only have 3 colors. Foglightking says one of my wires is loose but I made sure they are securely tightened. I think I might have a bad switch.... Anyways, all in all they are ok. The factory ones or the ones Faja got from BlingLights blend in much better.

As for the parking light bulbs, they are type T10 LEDs bulbs. I got T15 LED bulbs from http://www.ijdmtoy.com and they fit and look great!

In the future, more and more vehicles, not just hybrid or electric vehicles, all vehicles will gradually adapt the more efficient LED lights for cars headlights, tail lights, and interior lights.
