What's wrong with my 2007 2.5s?

I hear that 2.5 I4 getting about 26 mpg in city and 35 mpg in highway, but my altima is averaging roughly 16 mpg in city with stock wheels/tires. I just filled to a full tank yesterday and after 30 miles, it drank down to 3/4 tank. Is there something wrong with the MAF sensor? Any clues?

Somethings wrong, I would verify it the old school way (miles divided by gallons) to make sure computer is correct then take it in..

My 2.5 gets 26.7 according to the computer and i drive like an @ss 70% of the time.

When i first got the car i expected the gas mileage to be better, i guess i cant complain.

...very funny guys...

No, it is not a V6 by accident, even though i wish it were

And no, neighbor didn't borrow some as far as I know!

But seriously, when I filled the tank to full, it showed 440 miles range, then after I drove the car for 30 miles or so, it showed 360 miles range!!!

Gas mileage I get out of this car seems like this ever since I got it, roughly 16 mpg or so.

The other day when I started the car, i could smell gasoline burnt near by the engine area. This was the first time I noticed this smell though.

So I guess i'll drive until the tank almost empty then I'll do some math.

It's CVT and I hardly go beyond 4k rpm.
