The Audio and Cruise control buttons on my steering wheel have stopped working unless the wheel is turned at least 90 degrees. Unfortunately, this makes them useless in normal use. Does anyone know if there is some sort of "contact switch" in the steering wheel that may have gone bad? Thanks!

A little research seems to indicate that the steering wheel needs to be removed and that the Clock Spring has gone bad and needs to be replaced.

Thanks Audtatious for the FSM link!
The best price I can find is about $150 brand new OEM on eBay.

Probably cheaper than directly from the dealer and if you are doing it yourself you can avoid the labor costs.
