Hello everyone,

I've been scouring the internet for a replacement rev up engine but they're all $2,000 more than the DE base engine. Time and money is encouraging me to swap in a DE engine to get some seat time in my Z this summer.

My searching has led me to believe that this swap is straightforward except for two primary parts. The harness and ECU fitments are in question. The internet comments would have me believe that the rev-up harness and ECU (with flash) will work for a non rev-up engine. I've seen comments where people have said that they just leave the additional connections disconnected and all is well.

My question to the minds here at NICO Club is will this work as expected? and is there anyone with firsthand experience?
