Hello folks,

The suspensions of my car are gone for years. They are leaking but every mechanic told me that is not urgent, but the dealership wanted to replace right away. Not too sure who to believe. So I started looking for the suspension kits. I came across http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php ... 37&jsn=371 on Rock Auto. I just wanted to confirm this is a right fit.

Although it is listed under my car, I wanted to make sure because I noticed a couple of times, Rock Auto's listing was incorrect and I do not want to deal with returning stuff.

Is there any other kit I can buy, preferably cheaper?
(I do not want to buy parts individually because I am not well versed with this stuff.)

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, your dampers leaking means they're probably blown. You're kind of riding on springs. It's not good for handling, but it's not the end of the world. The car will still get you to work and school and whatever. Just don't go racing around on the bumpier roads! Both the mechanics and dealership are correct. You gotta prioritize your repairs.

Um, 100 bucks a corner is pretty darn cheap for pre-assembled stuff. Cheaper still is just replacing the dampers. But you gotta compress the springs and get into the assembly a bit more than you might be comfortable with or have tools for. The kit you found is great because it replaces other parts known to wear out when your car is as old as it is.

Anyway, I doubt anyone will know exact part numbers for pre-assembled stuff here online. Rock Auto is pretty good, but you're right, there's like a small chance of a mistake. Like, less than 1% I think, but if you have bad luck I can understand the worries. It's a great kit at a great price IMHO. If you want better peace of mind, spend a few minutes and give the manufacturer a call on their support line. Ask them if they have a kit and let them provide you with a part number or give them the number and have them double check it for you. Either way. Then call Rock Auto and make sure you're ordering the proper kit number and consider paying by phone to avoid any online mistakes like an incorrect link or something silly.

Thank you centralcoaster

I actually found even cheaper from BuyAutoParts on Amazon. Its their home brand product. I am collecting info to see if its worth investing money or just go with Monroe.

I seriously wonder why there is such a small variety to choose from?

Shoot, I don't know why, that's kind of a bummer. It's good to shop around though. I hope you find a good deal on something reliable.
