2006 sentra 1.8s to a sr20det swap...(need info please...)

hey guys i am new into the nissan world... i own 2 other vehicles also... but to get back onto subject... i got a 2006 nissan sentra 1.8s(auto) and i want more power so my older brother that is a nissan guru told me to swap it into a sr20det but he is an old school nissan tuner... and what all do i need to swap stock and turn into a cable style clutch so i dont have to do any hydraulic work... i just bought it and i have 30 day to return if i dont like... thanks for the replys...

If you did the swap, you'd want to use a 2000-2001 Sentra SE transmission (preferably the Performance Package VLSD one). It's hydraulic like your current one.

On top of that, you'll need a front/rear motor mount crossmember from the same 00-01 SE, and engine management may be an issue. You'd probably be best off with a piggyback (SAFCII, for instance) on an ECU from the same car OR a B14 SR ECU tuned by Jim Wolf Technonolgy.

This swap is intense for such a new/young car. I'd sooner pick up an '06 SE-R or some other car.
