2006 qx56 shift cable

Anyome have trouble with the shift cable breaking? I think mine has broken. Easy repair??? Shifter moves very easily. Dash displays the trans is in neutral. Cable is intact at the shifter. Possibly broken or disconected at the trans. Any advice would be helpful......

not a common thing, so dont be upset if not many reply.

i suggest getting the service manual for the car. you can find it on this site or google "x dot infinitihelp dot com" and grab it there.

I found the problem today. The nut that secures the shift cable to the trans had worked it's way loose and came off. Luckily it was a quick fix, and i'm back on the road...
