Hi, my rear windshield fluid is not coming out of my 06 qx56. front is fine. I tried poking a pin thru the hole, didnt do anything. I dont know what else to try, other than take it to the dealer. It should be covered under warranty right? Anyone have any other simple ideas i can try?

It's winter here, so maybe something is frozen? But the front is working, so maybe not....

It could be frozen. I did have that happen before, I have not had any issues since using the Rain-X (orange colored) washer fluid.

thanks for replying timmbo...do you think it would be frozen, even if the front is working?

Hey I don't know but could it be the level? Perhaps their is a P/U at a different level on the washer resivior for the rr washer??? I feel like I had a car years ago that was like that so that the rear would stop working before the front would.

My 2004 QX56 has this same problem and for me, it has nothing to do with it being frozen. It is damn cold here in Chicago, too, but my rear windshield washer has not worked for quite awhile, even in the summer. I, too, tried sticking a pin into the hole where fluid is suppose to come out to no avail. On my next trip to the dealer, this will surely be one of the items on the list to take care of. I'll post the culprit when they find out what the problem is.

sorry i haven't updated...it has started to work...must've been frozen, since the weather here warmed u a bit...i pretty much used it until i saw the fluid drop considerably in the resevoir, and then refilled with some better washer fluid..since then, the temp has dropped, but it's still working....

so, it must've been frozen..

The front washer tube are run on the inside of the fenders and are well insulated from the weather. They shouldn't freeze easily, but it's still possible.

The rear is run close to the roof and as the metal gets cold, the length of the hose will tend to get cold. Much colder than the front tubes.

I'd agree frozen, and it sounds like the weather showed it to be frozen.
