I tried to change my glovebox light today, I got the stock bulb out, and changed to the led. Now it won't turn on. I've tried turning the bulb around but it still wont work. I don't know if I accidentally disconnected something or not. The stock bulb won't work either. I also looked through all the fuses on the fuse box on the passenger side and all looked good. Then i realized that none of my other lights worked either on the center and shift console (heat/ac/radio) buttons. Has anyone run into this problem? any help would be appreciated.

sounds like you shorted the fuse that controls those lamps. it is not a usual problem but it can happen if you short the pins when replacing a lamp. the fuse did its job.

i think it is just a fuse sir. look on the drivers side panel.

I didn't find a fuse box on the driver side. If there is another fuse box on the driver side where is this located??? I did find it on the passenger side and looked through all the fuses again. They all looked fine.

I had my brother-in-law help go through and test each fuse in the fuse box on the passenger side and both in the engine. After about 30 minutes of testing we found the "illumination" fuse popped. Phew....that save me from going to the dealer and probably a few hundreds of dollars or more.
