2006 QX56 Driver's Window Rattle

I have a problem with the Driver's window rattling on my 06 QX56 when the window is partially down, and driving over bumps. Anyone else have this problem?? I know there is a Nissan TSB for 04 Armada's on this same problem, but I cannot find one from Infiniti. Brought it down to the dealer. they looked at it, confirmed the rattle, then told me they compared it to 3 other QX56s and all had the same problem (including a 2010 model). Then proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do to fix it. Bunch of BS..windows should not rattle on a $60K vehicle still under warranty.

My '04 QX56 had the same problem, I ended up having it fixed, then I noticed just before I traded it in that it started to rattle a little again.

I also had an '08 Armada and now a 2010 Armada, and there is not even a slight rattle, squeak, or peep. Not a sound, my 2010 is rock solid.

how is an '06 worth $60k in 2010 and how is it still under warranty?

Rattling windows in a partially down condition is something you can find on any vehicle in varying degrees. The seals on all vehicles start to wear over time. There are different things that could be tried to fix it, but it's not a "simple" thing to diagnose. The window system is more complex than most people realize.

I have 2006 and had same problem. Dealwr first told me it's a SUV and normal to have rattles, I disagreed and they installed soundproofing material in door under warranty. Problem fixed !
