2006 QX56 brake upgrades

Can't seem to find any info on brake upgrades for my QX. I have an '06 with the '08 rims.

I'm due for my second brake job with less than 60K miles. Just recently found out the '08 had larger rotors which would probably explain the increased brake wear on my truck. I'm trying to do a larger rotor/caliper/pad setup.

Does anyone know if the '08 setup will bolt on to the '06 or if there is an inexpensive aftermarket setup out there. To me 4 grand for brakes is insane. I can buy a nice used car for that!

I believe the hardware from an 08+ will bolt up fine. Not sure if the brake ratio will change though.

Stillen has a 14" bbk that uses a floating caliper and 2-piece disc. Its much cheaper than the more typical fixed caliper bbk's.

A larger rotor would necessitate a change in the ratio, thus creating the need to move the caliper further outward in retrospect to the increase in inches-would it not?

Depends on if they compensate by altering the piston sizes.
