Can someone please help me?

This is going to be silly, stupid easy for someone here, but I can't find the answer. I heave read rumors that there is a DVD aux audio input near the DVD in a 2006 qx56 where I could use RCA cables to hook up external audio. The problem is, where the heck is it??

Are they talking about the DVD under the passenger seat for the NAV disk? I heard the input was near an armrest but I don't see anything.

Can someone please help me out and tell me where to look or post a photo? Thanks in advance!!!!!

do you have the OEM dvd setup or aftermarket? if aftermarket, or dealer installed, it may be on the dvd player itself.

i had a 2006 many moons ago and i had a dealer installed myron & davis dvd setup. look in the roof console in back for any inputs.

I haven't found one in the wife's.

Looks like some people have a DVD player actually in the armrest which has aux inputs on it. I don't have that in my version which is why it seems so obvious to some people and not to others. I guess I'm kind of screwed.

For others who read this, if your QX56 (1st generation) came with the factory entertainment system then the DVD player is in the center console between the front seats and has RCA connectors for an AUX IN.
