Thanks for letting me join. I am working on a 2006 Pathfinder replacing the heater core, I have all of the dash out, just wondering do I need to take out the metal support that runs from side to side of the vehicle? If so how? I've looked online and can't find a video on it. Any help would be appreciated.

:welcome: to NICO! I haven't done this job, but I'd recommend checking out the factory service manual for ideas, available at www.nissanservicemanual.com

Step by step begins at MTC-87 for manual air conditioners, and ATC-135 for automatic climate control systems.
