Ok so ive belonged to this forum for quite some time now but have never posted to anything pertaining to this particular model...in that sense here is my situation...oh and BTW I apologize in advance for any stupid questions...

my cousin has a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8S Special Edition with the rockford fostgate sound system(components,amp,8in sealed sub) and in dash 6 disc cd changer....he wants to keep the stock deck and components...i have several questions i need answers to:1)how would one go about removing the 8 inch box/sub and replacing with one 10in Kicker CVR in a single sealed box2)could i just splice the wires coming off the amp to the sub and wire them in there or what3)will the factory amp be able to run the 10in sub along with its components4)where/what would i run the remote wire and RCAs from the amp to the deck if there was an additional amp added assuming that the factory amp will not suffice5)would i still need a high low converter6)where can i get a wiring diagram of the stock stereo systemand finally #7...any reccomendations or write ups on this ever done???

any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated...thank you for your time and patience

ok bro i have never worked on that model but i do my own systems in my cars u might as well get ride of the stock amp its not gonna b strong enough to get the best sound from it the kicker 10 well the one that i had was rated for a 1000 wats idk how big ur kicker is but the stock 200 wat amp so u well want to replace that just for the better sound the rcas and remote wires all should go into the back of the head unit there should b hook ups for them there for the stock amp and yah u should be able to just splice into the the stock wires but i would just re wire with better wire the stock wire is cheap and not thick enough for good sound and if u dont have multi. rca hook ups on the head unit ull have to upgrade ur head unit if u want to run more than one amp well thats about all i can think of i hope it helps

cool i just bought an 06 special edition too ... well idk too much about the wiring in it but i too would love to keep my stock deck and cd changer in there.from having previous systems i would suggest that you just redo the wiring yourself. also if you are going to put in a new sub it may also be wise to get a new amp for the sub due to the fact that the amp pushes the sub, even if you have a 15 inch type R in there the amp will push out the same amount of wattage that its giving the 8 inch also i have never added an additional amp before but i believe all that you would need is a power block and another ground you can splice the remote wire into the exsiting one and i think (not 100% sure) you run the rca's from one amp to the other and then run the rca's from the new amp to the other sub ... but i guess thats only if your running 2 subs and 2 amps im not really sure

i was thinking about splicing into the remote and rcas from the back of the deck and then running them separately to a separate amp and separate sub...my cousin wants to keep the 8 and then add another 10...not sure about splicing back before they reach the amp although it is a sound theory...im not too sure whether or not it matters how far from the source u splice but ive always assumed the closer the better...then ill just run the power wire through the firewall somewhere and then ground it to the torx bolt directly below where the stock 8 sits now...either way well be attempting it sometime here in the near future...this should be interesting although i dont think it will be more difficult then doing the system in my car...the 10 well be using is the 08 Kicker CVR and he has not chosen an amp yet...i just told him whatever he chooses make sure its a 400 RMS bc thats what the kicker calls for

How many I remember itself rode on a home auto. Wanted to purchase modern car and went to the market together with a wife to choose. Money was within the limits of 300 000 rubles. In our Omsk for these money it is difficult that was to find, to the order from Europe it was missing also...I will say at once -hotel only European. From two variants: FORD the Focus in the first basket(USA) and Nissan SENTRA (also USA) chose Nissan. The car to be liked in all. A salon is a velour, panel as from a factory, cleanly and it is comfortably. Out of repair made only replacement of butter in a rendering-engine and box, cleaning of injector. But I am embarrassed by the expense of fuel. A summer is the city-10-11 of liters, the winter the city of to 13,5 liters. A route is less, but this thanks to cruise-control, over 8 liters. I remind that a machine American(assembling of Mexico for Canada and USA) and tuning of computer not such goes from the factory of, how at ordinary Japanese with such rendering-engine...

I'd run a 0 gauge power wire to a 2 way power block that splits to 2 2 gauge wires **** ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR GROUND IS AT LEAST AS BIG AS YOUR POWER ****I make mine one up.(2 gauge power - 0 gauge ground). Any new amp should have Passive output which would allow you to run your RCA's to your new amp ... then from the new amp to old amp. Try to avoid splicing RCA's when you can has it will degrade your sound.

Your other option would be to find a 4 channel bridgeable amp.

use 2 channels to drive components

Bridge the other two channels to run at a lower ohm and higher power with a Crossover.

use old amp to power 8 by itself.

we did this in my dad's and that little stock sub will boom when it has clean power.

If you need I could draw up the AMP wiring. Has for the stock wires I can't really remember but if I get to his place I'll double check and map it out.

Well if you want to keep the stock deck, idk if you've been told already or if you already know but you will need an rca converter box to hook up to the deck. Good luck with everything.
