So I have a 2006 Quest 3.5SE 5-spd Auto. The drivers side CV Axle was shot so i replaced it with an aftermarket one. I noticed upon taking the old one out that it was sloppy on the transmission side. Put the new one in and all went well. The reason for this post is that it makes a horrible noise from the drivers side wheel well and its a pulsating noise. I figure its the hub bearing. Although when i turn the wheel, the noise doesn't progress or diminish. I jacked up the drivers side and shook the wheel...all is tight. I grabbed the CV axle in the middle and notice that on the transmission side it is terribly sloppy (moves up and down and side to side about 3/8 of an inch...now its a BRAND NEW CV Axle and not a refurbished one. Has anyone had any trouble with the transmission bearing going where the CV Axle goes into the trans? ANY help or advise is appreciated.

I had a front right wheel/hub bearing go bad under 100,000. It wasn't shaking around, but would squeal like a banshee. Pretty easy to replace...pulling abs sensor was tedious.

Replaced my pass side front wheel bearing this morning. Has been growling for the last 4000 miles. Rides like a dream. But....Now my abs,tcs off light and slip lights are on. Was this new bearing supposed to go in a certain way, or did I somehow booger up the abs line? Or both?

I have the same issue, replaced the drivers side hub, made sure the ABS view hole lined up...hub works great but my ABS and traction control will not reset...MY OBD II reader does not have a way to reset the error..

Any ideas?! my wife is being really annoying telling me how much she slips around in the snow now without the ABS!!!
