2006 Nissan Pathfinder

I bought a 2006 Pathfinder in December from a dealer. I have recently noticed that when I first take off, and only when I first start the car and take off ( not at a stop sign or coming to a stop then accelerating) that it makes a clanking noise. It only does it when I first start the car and move. I have been trying to determine whether it comes from the front or the back- but I can't tell. Anybody have a clue?

I also have that problem. Only when I back the car out in the morning. I'll drive about 100 ft and hear a "clank" that sounds like it is coming from the back end. I am going to take it into the dealer

Took it to the dealer. Service tech said the "clank" is normal and it is just the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) engaging. No way to know whether its BS or not but the owners manual also confirms.
