Picked up a off-lease 2006 Murano (AWD) with 35,000 kms (Canada!) of few weeks ago. Luved it...until today!

Today with new snow the transmission was "clunking" around 35 -60 km/h as it it was "shifting hard" (which cannot be the case with this type of transmission) or maybe the AWD was messing up as it tried to engage?

Heading back to the dealer tomorrow.

Any ideas?

Do the 2006 have a problem or am I just "lucky"?

Any pre--dealer-visit insight would be great.

Thx

Could be a couple of things. Most likely it is the differential since you are having problems in the snow. Hopefully you should still be covered under the power warranty.
