Bought this beauty a week ago. Runs and rides like new, one owner car with 167k miles. $13,900, took a chance but it felt right. No records and no PPI besides me driving it hard. Love it! Anyone have any with more miles? Anything I should look out for? Everything (Nav) works perfectly except for the one touch window motor on the passenger side back seat, no worries. Previously had a 97 q45 with 188k miles and a 2000 LS400 with 150k. The Lex was bullet proof except for the tape player going out. The q45 was more problematic. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated.

Is the window motor not working? or is it just the one touch window up feature not working?

I meant to ask the same question... You may just need to reprogram it.

It would be an easy fix.

but if you had to replace the motor I find that going to a body shop may be cheaper.

1- roll that window all the way down.

2- roll it all the way up until it's closed and don't let go of the switch for another 3sec.

3- test window

That should do it.

:poke: I believe you have to complete the above sequence with the ignition switch all the way on, but engine not running.

Congrats on the purchase. I bought my latest M with over 100k miles and only one owner. The guy did every single service at the dealer, so there was a list of maintenance over 5 pages long! Was awesome to see, but in the back of my mind I felt bad for the guy... the stealership quoted him $2500 to fix a valve cover gasket leak (probably why he ditched the car). I fixed said leak in 5 minutes for free by torquing the nuts!

178K No major repairs yet. Here's a repairs outline with cost. I haven't edited it for this year yet but I don't have much to report. 06-m35-at-164k-miles-here-s-what-to-expect-t538945.html
