2006 M45 to 2008 M45x, Questions!

I purchased my 2006 M45 early this year, and really like the car. An opportunity has come up to get a low mileage, one owner 2008 M45x, and I have a few questions, if anyone could help out.

1) I have H-Techs and KYB's on the current car. Will these work on the M45x? Also, I am not a big fan of the 2008 AWD wheels. Will the chrome 2006 M45 wheels swap over, or are they different offsets?

2) How does a RWD M45 compare to an AWD M45? Is the M45x slower? Is gas mileage affected significantly?

3) How is the iPod interface? I currently have the USA Spec unit, and while the sound quality is great, I think it is pretty clunky as far as searching through 600 plus artists, and over 6500 songs. How does the Factory interface compare?

Any other insight would be much appreciated. Thanks for any input!

2) How does a RWD M45 compare to an AWD M45? Is the M45x slower? Is gas mileage affected significantly? Yes it will be a little more thirsty but I doubt you will notice it- the increased consumption comes for the added weight.Drive ability might be a little different as the car sits higher.

Thanks for the reply! You are right; it does seem to lean more in corners, but nothing a spring & strut swap won't cure.

What is the iPod mod you speak of?!

A lot of the owners on this forum have gone with a some after market thing. Have look at the very top of this forum, in the how to's I think. Pa15. Something like that.

Thanks for then feed back, I was going to swap out the springs this coming spring.
