I have a 2006 m45. And need a new motor what all can I use a engine from

You need a VK45DE for direct replacement. The VQ35DE also comes stock in these cars as the M35, however I believe some minor modification would be required to interchange between the two such as EFI harness, coolant lines, etc.

same problem with mine. and i still owe money on it. I'm sure its a piston ring that got messed up. ill prob part it out and take a loss on it if i don't find a engine soon. -.-
