I have a '06 M45 with the sport suspension with a aftermarket drop kit 1.5" front suspension drop and a 1.0" drop on the rear suspension and I've beed searching all over for aftermarket OEM replacement struts and shocks, but only to come to a dead end and the only place that has it is my local infiniti dealership that is quoting me for the front is $565.99 each side. and the rear is $467.73 each side. I feel like I'm trapped forking out $$$$ by buying it from them.
There's a whole lot available for the "base" model suspension, but nothing for the sport package. Has anyone have some luck in finding aftermarket OEM replacement Struts and shocks? I so please advise and recommend.

Thank you, WW

I don't even know if this will apply to your car , but it's little known info , that if your struts come apart (unscrew at top , w/pistons & oil filled) draining and refilling & using a slightly more viscous oil ( I used a "jack oil" ,which was rated for shock / motorcycle forks etc.) and found the brand that was "thicker" as compared after I dissassembled mine. It really made a difference ,and with a slight overfill (10-20cc's moer) = stiffer handling ,better damping , better than original "factory fill" performance .Cost 4 bottles @ $4 ea. !!!
Of course , labor huge factor , for I did this myself ,I take the chance you know. A regular mechanic may scoff at the success , for it is a kind of gamble with Labor$$$ , or not do it correct and "GETCHA TWICE" installing a 2nd time the several thousands you quoted on parts alone !! :wtf2: mac,2/17/2018

I didn’t realize there was any difference in struts between models. The Sport just has the rear steering difference, doesn’t it?

Try Monroe struts. I replaced my OEM struts and shocks with Monroe’s and they sell a version for the M45 Sport.
