I didn't convert your km to miles, but I'd say that if you are doing the following regular maintenance items (i.e., other than repairs), then you are doing perfectly well! :yesnod
  • Cold tire pressure checks every other week - keep it at 1 to 4 psi above recommended minimum of 34psi. Adjust up (but do not exceed tire max pressure - typically 50psi ... some older ones are 44psi max) or down (but do not go below 34psi) depending on tread wear.
  • Oil and filter change at 200 to 500 miles, 1700 miles, 3750 miles and then every 3750 miles after that. Using either synthetic or dino oil and OEM filter. Any 5W-30 oil is fine, but I use and prefer Mobil 1 Synthetic 0W-40.
  • Transmission fluid powered flushes (not just a drain and fill) every 30k miles.
  • Rear (and front for AWD) differential fluid change at 10k miles and then every 30k miles after that.
  • Engine air filter every 15k miles (doing it sooner at 12k miles is better too).
  • In-cabin air filter every 15k miles (timing is not critical per se - do the change when it appears dirty perhaps).
  • Brake fluid changes every 2 years or 30k miles - whichever comes first.
  • Power steering fluid flushes every 30k miles (stretching to 45k or 60k miles might be okay).
  • Brake pads replacement whenever they get down to recommended minimum.
  • Rotors replacement whenever they get down to recommended minimum. Use heavy iron - cross-drilled or slotted are not critical, if you pick a good vendor (I have been happy with Centric from Tire Rack!)
  • Rotate tires (pattern depends on your tire directionality) every 3k to 6k miles. Use summer tires in summer and true winter tires if you live in snow country - all-seasons are okay to use, but necessarily lesser tires when compared to true summer or snow tires. Make sure that the tire load index is at least 95 or higher.
  • Tires replacement whenever they get to, or below, 3/32" tread depth at any section of the tread width (use 4/32" as a minimum for heavy rain regions).
  • Ideally replace all four tires together and use the same brand. For AWD, use the exact same size on all four wheels too - the wheels must also be the exact same size (no staggering!).
  • Fan fluid changed at 10k to 15k miles and then every 30k miles (only applicable to 2003 and 2004 M45, as far as I know).
  • Coolant changes every 30k miles (stretching to 45k or 60k miles is probably okay, but not for hot climates, IMHO).
  • Spark plugs every 100k miles.
  • Shocks (struts) every 75k to 100k miles.
  • Wiper blade refills as needed (when their edge is worn or frayed). For me, regular edge cleaning with 1000 grit ultra-fine "sandpaper" works wonders to extend the life of the refills - it removes the vulcanized rubber along the edge that hardens quickly.
I didn't see a engine coolant replacement in your list - did I miss it? - so you are way overdue for that if it has not been done!

Is there anything that needs to be looked at in terms of timing?

Also what's a good route to go with changing shocks for sport model?

Thanks!
