2006 m45 starter location
Can anyone kindly tell me where the starter is on 06 m45's just bought a new battery a month ago and when I start the car all I hear is a single click the pics on here don't show up and posts are outdated thanks in advance

The starter is on the driver side of the block, pretty close to the lower steering shaft.
I know you said the battery is new, but have you checked to see if by chance it died again? I'll walk to the store to replace the battery if I have to and avoid replacing that starter where it is located.

No I have not because I just got the battery so I assumed it was not the battery I do not leave nothing on or anything so why would the battery die

No pictures handy at the moment, but the FSM electrical (EL) section might have some pointers.
