2006 M45 Drainage tube issue

The nature of the problem is water overflowing from the sunroof drainage tubes. I know the cause and possible solution to the problem, what I'm having an issue with is the best way to access the tube. I want to pry the A pillar apart but some photos I've seen don't show the actual tube. If anyone knows firsthand or can point the way to a instructional video, it be much appreciated.

Also I was planning on cutting the end of the drainage tube off to avoid this issue in the future. If you have thoughts on that I'm all ears.

After accessing the tube you'll be able to better diagnose what your issue with the tube is, but cutting it is not something I'd encourage
