2006 M45 cup holders - too big

I recently bought a 2006 M45 Sport and love it with the exception of the oversized cup holders in the center console. As a coffee lover I'm at risk for sending my travel mugs flying every time I take a fast corner, which is every corner. Does anyone know if there are supposed to be inserts or somewhere I can get inserts to hold normal sized drinks?

I don't have a good answer for you per se. I use a Starbucks coffee mug with a lid.

Infiniti also sells a line of mugs and stuff ... I wonder if their mug is a good fit for the holder. Check your dealer and try one - maybe he can give you one in compensation for this problem!

Thanks for the advice, didn't know they had infiniti mugs and would love to have a few to put in the new sleigh. I talked to dealer and turns out they forgot to put the "cup holder" insert back in the console so will be sending it to me this week. Now I can pass people AND drink my coffee!

I have the same issue. I have been at Starbucks lately watching for a bigger circumference mugs. I haven't seen anything yet.
