2006 M45 airbag light flashing

I disconnected the center ceiling panel (dome lights, sensors, etc.) and after reconnectng, the airbag light flashes. I assume it merely needs to be reset as nothing was permanently disturbed in the system. Is there an easy fix or do I need to take it in? I have tried an old fix for other models (pressing the door open sensor switch seven times, etc.) but I assume it is not relative to the new M45. Any thoughts?

Take it to the dealer and bend over.

Well, you could do the battery disconnect. Sure you didn't switch any of the connectors?

Take it to your dealer and have them reset it. I had this same problem when I reconnected a wire going to my seat. All they have to do is reset it and your fine.

Thanks for the reassurance. I am also having trouble with my windows no longer automatically closing. They auto-open, but no longer auto-close. The sunroof has not been affected. Anyone have this problem?
