2006 M35x tapping noise PLZ HELP

i have a M35X 06 with 85k miles just last week i started to hear a tapping or knocking noise while the car warms up and i also hear it when im at low RPM and want to accelerate it starts to fade away after 2300 RPM i dont know if it has to do with my oil because im up for an oil change. can it be carbon build up if so how should i clean it any suggestions would be use full

It sounds like the same issue me and another member had can you here this Tap/knock at low rev please read the hole post not to scare you but there replacing my short block as we speak and it doesn't do it a idle

Is it more of a ticking noise coming from underneath the car? I too am experiencing this when I shift and begin acceleration. At first I thought it might be a suspension thing but it doesn't occur if you rock the car just when you accelerate forward or backward. I Found a forum post where a few others have experienced this. They took the car in and discovered the rear axle needed to be replaced. I will be doing this in the near future just need to find the time to be without a car for a while. Do you have an extended warranty?
