Guys can anyone tell me whats going on here.. I just bought a car on auction.. pressing on the buttons on the key does not open or lock doors, putting the key into the "key" hole, starts up a car...
Any help would be appreciated

Have you checked/replaced the battery inside the key fob? It is a coin cell ... type 2025, as I recall. Should be in the Owner's Manual ... Another possibility: you may have to get the key re-programmed at an Infiniti dealer ... but, since the car starts, this shouldn't be the issue.
