Over the past month I’ve noticed the Blower Motor (AC and Heat) has been intermittently not working. For example, I will set it to 3/4 power yet nothing is coming out from the vents….then after about 15 or 20 minutes it just comes on.
Reading a few past forum posts, the blower motor seems pretty straight forward to replace and rather inexpensive all things considered (I found them around $75.00).
Are there ‘relays’ in play here as well? Given the issue is intermittent I’m not 100% convinced it’s the blower itself.
Any feedback would be appreciated

..so I changed the blower motor this morning (less than a half hour) but no change with the issue
Turn the defrost on and nothing....15 minutes worth of driving and it comes on.
I dont think this is a fuse issue since it does work at times (not even sure where the fuse for the blower motor it) but it will be worth checking
Any other suggestions would be appreciated

When cold out, it takes my heater about 5-10 minutes to warm up before it will start blowing. My AC starts blowing immediately..?

I'm having the same issue with my 2007 M35x. Any other fix for this issue?

I am having the same issue and some research it looks like it may be resistor. Will follow up if I have any luck.

I recently went through this exact issue. My HVAC blower would take 15-20 minutes to start blowing and replacing the blower relay did the trick.

The relay is on the back of the fuse block near your left foot, under the driver's side dash. The block is held in place by 4 plastic tabs...Once those are released, the replacement of the relay is a plug and play.

I got the replacement on Amazon...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BFE ... ge_o02_s00

Hope this helps!
