2006 M35X AWD starter removal

Hi All - Any tips on the easiest way to remove a starter from an 06 M35X (AWD)? I'm going to try in my garage. Hopefully a jack and jack stands will get the car high enough off the ground to do so assuming I have to get at it from the bottom of vehicle.

Is the starter located on the drivers side on the AWD M?

Any other hints much appreciated.
