2006 M35x "audio off" radio not working!

My screen says "audio off", and when I push the volume knob it just beeps, but does not turn the radio on. None of the audio and voice buttons work on the steering wheel. I've seen this exact issue from others online, but have not seen a solution. Anyone know what to do?

Have you checked all of the audio related fuses? Maybe one of them is bad?
