2006 M35 Radio - Random Channel Changes

I have the standard stereo system on my 2006 M35x and recently the tuner has started to change channels without warning. This occurs whether the car is moving or stopped.

For example - if I am on 660 am the channel changes to 670 or if I am on satellite channel 100 it changes to 97 or 101.

Can anyone shed a light on this annoying problem?

No suggestion other than a flaky power connector or bad switch under the channel selector or something like that, but I would recommend that you exercise your warranty rights and get the dealer to fix it!
