 Anyone else experiencing peeling clear coat on the hood and top of the car? And cracked leather seat on the passenger side? Performance wise I love my 2006 M35 but cosmetic wise it’s falling apart.

What color is your car?

A lot of Nissans had cracking side bolsters on the driver side - makes sense, but I didn't see it much in 06 going forward. A cracking passenger seat? Well, then that's just an issue with the entry and exit method (and maybe mass) of the passenger. Some people just plonk themselves down then drag themselves over into the seat.

a few guys have admonished Infiniti about their peeling clear coat - only real solution is a respray.

cracked leather seat: might want to check out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... zbRXlSN3HY
it's a long video, but you get to see everything: beginning, middle, and end and the end results look pretty good

I just watched that video. Pretty impressive results. My wheat colored seats require cleaning frequently from the dyes in jeans and skin lotions that I blame on my lovely Miss's lovely legs. I have also noticed slight cracked-looking surfaces as well. Seems a bit pricey, this stuff ... but I just ordered it and may do a DIY when I use it.
