Can anyone advise how far apart the G35 bumpers are from the M? I noticed that the G35 has about 20 different lip spoilers in urethane. How much modification; if any do I have to do to get it to fit?

I purchased an altima lip with pretty bad results. Any suggestions?
I'd like to stay away from fiberglass. I never understood the love affair with that bastard of a material.

Maybe try a 5 series BMW or a c class Mercedes. All the mounting holes won't line up but they are about the same size as an M and some have used parts from those cars to fit.

For the five series it's just a lip so the model wouldn't matter since that usually changes engine size.

so far I have eliminated the Altima lip. I purchase the g35 coupe lip last night and will advise if that 1 fits in a few days. if the g35 lip does not fit my next step is the 5 series.

I'm surprised no 1 has ever examine the issue of no aftermarket lips yet. Something has to give.

I guess I will have to be the guinea pig.

Now I know what you mean... E60/61 is the one they used. Most people just go with a newer model M bumper swap instead of adding a lip that might not fit. Gl with trial and error, I'm sure someone will appreciate it down the road.

Do you think it can be modified to fit? How much of a difference

First what type of lip are you going for splitter style, chin lip? I would look for a lip near the same width of the car or close. I am using the G37 Coupe Stillen lip it will need to widened about 2.5 inches but follows the lines of my bumper pretty well, 08+ Sport bumper. Or as Mexillis stated the BMW E60/61 would be a great choice as a lip.

You might need to cut the center and add material to make it work. Shouldn't be that much I would think to have a shop make it fit.

I actually did think about that and there is a huge market for it. I still cannot believe that after 7 years of this vehicle being on the road no 1 has capitalized on making a cheap aftermarket urethane lip or even a body kit.

Our Japanese counterparts are selling urethane body kits for almost 3000 dollars shipped to the United States that is absolutely absurd. I noticed that people are actually buying them too that's the worst part

I agree...it I'd on the low side. Hopefully an entrepreneur is monitoring this rant and takes immediate action. Lol

I tried to get the front & rear splitters and rear fin diffusers done but no one was willing to give me a good deal unless I was ordering 500 sets at a time. :frown:

I get people asking me for them all the time.

Wonder if any of these would fit. I've thought about about how the shape of the newer altimas kinda resemble the M45 (though most likely I'm wrong). Probably worth a try right?
