2006 m35 drivers seat no air no heat

My 2006 is out of warrenty 75,000 milespassenger seat climate controls works but the drivers side was intermittant and now dead for both hot and cold no light in the control knobLooked at schematic posted on line dont mean jack to meCould this be a fuse i can check ? or is this a dealer issue?thanksMazz

I dont think it would be a fuse because then wouldnt the passenger side not work either?

Sounds more like a loose wire somewhere, probably somewhere near the control knob that turns the unit on.

That is more like it - try to wiggle the switch and see if the light comes on - if it does, you got an answer right there. Otherwise, you might need to open the console (the portion for the CC seat switch) and inspect the connection - if you are comfortable to do it.

Opening that part of the console is super easy. Just remove the cup holder portion by pulling up on the lid. The whole cup holder part will come out. you will then see the seat control wires right there. If you want to remove the controls, there are 4 screws that hold it in. That all there is to it.
