Hi

Im new to this site and would appreciate help/advice with asthetic upgrades.

I recently purchased a 2006 m35x in Pearl white. I want to upgrade with an aero kit but would like to stick with the polyurethane oem version and stay away from the fiberglass knockoffs that are floating around.

Ive been hunting throughout craigslist and ebay for a few weeks and finally stumbled on an ebay seller who had the oem side skirts for $90 each and just recieved them today!

few questions:

Where can i possibly find the oem pieces without paying japanese import prices?
Has anyone ever attempted to use the ebay cannards/splitters the are floating around?(Never liked anything non oem from ebay but im getting desperate)
Any suggestions on what to do if i cant find the rest of the kit?
I want to get rid of the gap between the tire by lowering the car but would like to keep it conservative, any suggestions? Based on what im reading Tien H will do the trick, anything else similar?

Welcome to the forum.

1) At this point, you're going to have to find someone selling a used kit order to be able to find the polyurethane OEM pieces...congrats on at least finding the side skirts.

2) I don't know of anyone who has used the splitters on eBay. I know Freddie (06M4.5) has custom splitters but I forget where he got them from...

3) For springs, I'd recommend the Tein H tech if you're looking for a conservative drop.

I hope this helps.

Welcome. My best advise would be to just get the 08+ sport bumper. The Aero kit is too hard to find. Trust me I know. I was looking for it since about 2 years ago. 2ndly... If you have an M35X like I do, I recommend the Espilir springs. They are very good so far and give you a nice drop without slamming the car.
