Driving home with my son about 2 weeks ago cooling off in the car. The ac was blowing cold and felt wonderful.
All of a sudden it just stopped blowing... no air coming out of the vents ,but the screen still showed that the ac was on and on on full blast at 60 deg.even the seat ac stopped.
I was wondering if this could be an ac amplifier problem. I've never experienced this type of problem in any other car before. It's hott here in Florida and I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem or similar.

Any other electronics work worse or stop? Might have thrown the belt for the accessories which drives the condenser or whatever?

Could be your blower motor stopped then cause of a bad fuse, etc. I'd start there.

Fuses 10 and 11 were my blower motor fuses, 2007 M45. Yours might be the same.

I recently went through a similar issue...My HVAC blower would take 15-20 minutes to start blowing and replacing the blower relay did the trick.

The relay is on the back of the fuse block near your left foot, under the driver's side dash. The block is held in place by 4 plastic tabs...Once those are released, the replacement of the relay is a plug and play.

I got the replacement on Amazon...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BF ... nk20580-20

Hope this helps!

My A/C runs nice and cold for about 10-15 minutes and then suddenly will just stop blowing cold. I shut if off for 15 minutes, turn it back on, and its cold again. I doubt that its a freon issue but i don't know. Any ideas?

Also, when it stops blowing cold, it seems like it might be blowing from outside, even though I've got it on recirculate.

If it has ever bled down to need a recharge that is a classic symptom of water in the system to freeze the restriction up, you let it stop to melt the water and then you got cold again until it repeats. Why the recharging kits get people in so much trouble.

Can anyone tell me how to release the plastic tabs without breaking them or the fuse block so I can access the blower relay?

The ac temp unifier amplifier module thingy can cause weird issues and really easy to replace

I figured it out, Ilya was right-blower motor stopped, fried the module. Replaced both and now blowing cold air again. Thanks!
