Put a new engine in the car a week before this problem occurred. Was driving and all of a sudden it started acting like it wasnt responding to the gas pedal. the harder i pressed the pedal the slower the went until it just stopped . now it will turn over but wont crank. Changed the solenoids, all the sensors, crank shaft sensor, the maf sensor etc. had new timing done, compression test, fuel pressure test, You name it we done it. Does anybody have an idea what this problem might be? Im ready to sell the car for parts.

Just to clarify a few things:

Was the previous engine working fine? What was the reason for the engine swap and what is the new engine? Manual or automatic? And why did you put "Variable Valve Timing" in the title, do you think the VVT is part of the issue?

What codes are you throwing? What prompted you to change those specific sensors?
