Looks like that back bumper is actually the 06/07 style..not the 08+

I think it looks really good--but also agree with others that the gap at the lights would eat at me too.
I dislike the front lower grill design for both years--just seems to catch dirt, but like the overall shape and fog light surrounds of the '08 more

FWIW--I bought the front lip for my '06 M45 and put it on myself--I got it online before the price doubled!!!--- :wtf2:
i think the cost went up, when dealers' stock started to dwindle. i have the mudguards in place, so i didn't buy the rest of the aero package.
thought it might look kinda funny without the other 3 pieces, but it actually looks pretty good and it covers up some of the driveway road rash
on the front passenger side.

Anyone have info on how the ADV TECH radar box is attached is it mounted to the bumper or to the body of the car, Plan on swapping bumpers soon and want to know what I am getting into before pulling everything apart.

Once you remove the bumper it remains on the car.

Word!!!! Thanks, but I have noticed the locations are diff on the model years but since they are mounted to the car I am sure I can finagle something to make it work.

I finally did the swap, it was about $1700 to have a shop do all the work.

I still need to get the filler piece for the lower grill but i really like the new look.

How does your car have adaptive cruise but not lane departure warning? :S Or is that the filler piece that you're talking about?

I ordered the wrong lower grill and also didnt get the filler piece. I have all the new parts on order now but all parts are out of stock.

I now have to pay a restocking fee for the wrong lower grill i got. prob like $20 oh well.

yeah do it all yourself with spray paint haha.
I read you dont need to change out the chrome grill but i liked the new version.

I really like the new look, the shop did a great job and thats why i paid them to do it.

I'm a little confused... it looks to me like you're done...what filler piece are you referring to?

I think he's referring to the tow hook cover.

^ congrats Jayfox...looks good!!

I'm not sure if you mentioned it, but did you pick up a set of 08 fender liners for the fronts?? the 08 bumper is longer/wider so it doesn't match up with the 06 front fender liners -- there is a gap that you can see when looking at the wheel well, plus it keeps water or other road stuff from getting in...My body shop guy recommended it when I did my 08 bumper swap...made a big difference...

I don't know the part number off hand, but I got it through Infiniti Parts USA.. :bigthumb:

enjoy the new look and congrats!!!

Old thread I know, but does anyone happen to know what the OEM 2008 Sport Bumper cover is made from Polyurethane, ABS etc.
