Welcome to NICO!

Any chance the connection to your camera was worked loose inside the trunk lid? Is there anything placed over the lens like a sticker of some sort that could obstruct it? Perhaps a connection is loose in the back of the head unit?

Hope you get it figured out!

Thanks for welcoming me to NICO!!

I actually did check the back wires connected to the camera and everything is connected well in the trunk....and the lens to the camera does not appear to have anything covering it. I actullay have a 7 inch TV in place in the rear view mirror and the rear camera is working there just fine just not in the main unit. I think that it must be a wire that is loose behing the head unit...i am actually going to take it next week to an audio shop to be checked out!! I will keep you posted with their findings, hope the labor hours dont start to get out of control, lol

Very good. Definitely keep us posted. We like to have a record of problems that can occur with vehicles, and those records are even better when solutions are found.

Rear camera is working now!! I took it to an audio shop and they went behind the back of the navigation screen. There are 4 wires and they apparently were loose and were coming out of the unit. After reconnecting them it now works perfect!!
