Actually car looks good with all 3 wheels! I am partial to the new M56/M37 wheels, but all 3 really make the car look good.

The 08+ bumper does wonders for the car...doesn't even look like an 06 anymore...not sure i like the areo kit with it though..if i had to rank the rims i'd say 1) fx50, 2) m37/56 3) maxima 19's

All car looks really good man!

1) Please tell the world what you had to do to get the 08 bumper installed. Or link to a thread. I want to do it if all I have to change is the front bumper.
2) Damn I should have gotten white. White is SO GORGEOUS.

Wow! Your car looks great. I didn't know an 08 bumper could fit on an 06! I'm loving those M56 wheels on there, PLEASE post some more pics, especially a nice side profile pic.

Thanks,

BB.

Hey thanks for the positive feedback guys. The 08 front bumper can be done but you will need to change the grill also but that wasn't a problem for me because that 08 grill looks 10 times better is what I think. The bumper fits perfectly and the foglights mount right on as well, now the inner fender liners are not necessary to change to the 08 but if you do choose to leave the 06 ones like I did there will be a slight gap at the very bottom of the inner bumper. I will be posting up more pics and once again thanx!

What did you do with those 21 wheels? If they are available I will buy em.

I would really like to see more pictures with the M56 wheels. Can you us an idea of how much Parts & Labor were for the front bumper conversion?

Thanks

I still own the 21' Fx rims but I'm not selling them at the moment..

Everything for the bumper conversion including labor came out to about $1500

I'd be doing my own labor as I have my own tools and my own garage/lift. I'd probably be able to do it for less than $500 if all I need is the bumper and grill. Bumpers can be had on EBay primed for $300 and I can't imagine a grill being too much. Paint my best friend can do.

I'm pumped. You gonna do any sort of howto?

umm so you are saying that you would be willing to pull this off for someone that lives in nyc (deemclass your car looks familar, not for nothing as if I have seen it in manhattan in the lower east side)and would not have a issue with possibly going in your direction to perform something most of the 06MMMMM crews have been waiting to do for some time.. see fellas prayer does work from time to time

I'm down for a meet.

And also, I'm 3hrs north of NYC. Plus, I don't think my pops would appreciate me modding a bunch of M's front bumpers in his garage lol. I'm 23 and live with my parents...by their rules lol.

no one asks you to mod their car man. i was referring to a general M-series owner meet. doesn't have to be m35,45 - just any M.

humm well maybe i can bribe your parents with some really good spanish food,. it might work whos knows..(lets see what deemclass shows us picture wise and then see if it might be possible on the installation and your b/f paint job... as far as all the north east MMMM owners meeting I think its long overdue.. I was waiting for the g35/g37/M/ZZ's 2010 bestbuy meet in Brooklyn that has yet to be announced or organized to be in the works but nothing so far unfortunately.. for those that dont know what I am speaking about check this link out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toLI9nHkU48

Did you just buy them from the dealer? Or were you able to find them somewhere else?

Thanks,

I like the car with the m56 wheels. Could you also please put up a post on how to swap the front bumper? I have also been debating if I should debaged the car and since I have a better visual of what it will looks like. I might just end up doing it, what did you use to removed the emblems?

I actually left the car at the body shop while they painted and mounted the bumper.
