i have an 06 infiniti m35 on 22's i have 22x9 and 22x10 running 245/30/r22 front and 285/25/r22 rear... only rubbing issue i have is when i have passengers in the back and the tire seems to rubb on the fender when going over big bumps.

I want to lower my car atleast an inch in the front and was wondering the best way to do this without doing the rear because i think lowering the rear will make the rubbing issue worse, but i could be wrong :S

PLEASE HELP WITH ANY TIPS OR ADVISE

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

If you install the H-Tech springs with a little camer and a small pull at the rear it should be good. You might want to look in to Milling your rear wheels 2 or 4mm if it can be done, I did it to my wheels.

Most are running smaller tires which allows them to install Eibach springs (1.6" front drop).

good luck, Freddie

Yea tires are new not willing to get another set spent alot of money on these already. that being said is there anyway way to fix my current situation??

Also my tires wear from the inside, can someone please give me like a step by step on what i need done and the parts i need to get to make this setup work. (i.e 22's and lowering) and is it possible just to lower the front with the tech h to get the 1" drop in the front? I basically want front lowered 1" , fix the rub issue in the back when i have people sitting in the back and going over bumps, and fix the tire wear also

Do you know how much camber you rears have? Or are you saying f/r wear from the inside? If your camber isn't negative at all you might just need another alignment and actually camber in the rears. That could help with your rubbing issue. If that desnt do what you need look into pulling or rolling your fenders. Are you sure its rubbing the fenders or is it rubbing the carpeted liner? Lastly you can lower just the front if you want, it wont hurt anything

Not sure how much camber my rears have, both the front and the rear tires wear from the inside. the tire kinda sticks out of the side a little tiny bit and when i go over a bump and theres ppl weighting the back end down it rubbs to hits the the fender or quite possibly the liner but i think its might be the fender though. Im going to try the alignment if that doesnt help probably get the rear wheels machined a bit. Also just going to lower the front of the car with h tech springs.

Please post some pics and the offset you are running, I'm thinking about going with 22's on my M35 with Eibach springs. Leaning toward Vossen CV1 wheels but not sure if I should go with 20's or 22's. Front would likely be 9x22 with 38+ offset and rear would be 10.5x22 with +42 offset. I think it would be close and may rub with people in the back.

It would be helpful to know the offset of your wheels. When most folks go with an aggressive width and negative offset---they opt to have their fenders cut and remade to accommodate the wheel fitment. Don't try altering your wheels to achieve higher offset since doing so can be dangerous and reduce the integrity of the wheels.

I finally got my wheels for the car. I went with 22" Vossen CV1's and I don't have any rubbing issues so far with Eibach springs and the wheel/tire specs are 9" wide with 38 offset and 245/30/22. I started off with the 255/30/22 hoping it would work but they rubbed over a big bump. Checkout the pics and let me know what you guys think!

Nice Todd!! Didn't know you had it up and running with the new tires already.... Two questions, smoked our tail lights? How did you do them?? And second, is that the midnight black front grill??

Thanks Bodyguard, I got the new tires in this past week. I had my tail lights painted (smoked) at a local shop. They turned out a little darker than I hoped but the quality is very nice. I'm not sure which grill, I do know it was OEM from Nissan but black instead of Chrome.

OK Thanks! I want to smoke my tail lights out as well just not as dark also... How much $$ Also, the grill does look like the midnight black INFINITI grill. Mine has chrome and black in the center part! We gotta get together... I'll be taking a week off after this coming Saturday so I'll have plenty of time. Not going to do much except some spring cleaning so hit me up you know the number ok!! :dblthumb:

Adding camber will cause more wear on the inside tires....You are probably hitting the inner liner. Have some people sit in the back and see what the tire is hitting. If it's the inner liner then you can leave it or cut it out.

Does the '08 have a fender lip or is it flat-up like the G?
