I have an 06 se with the halogen hir bulbs. I recently purchased the hid conversion kit, got my friend to install them at his shop. They work fine but i need the fog lights on when i drive at night because the light output shoots too high and it doesnt shine well on the road. I had to purchase the 9006 bulbs and fit it into the 9012 socket (pretty much the same fit). Are the bulbs off balance or something???

there should be adjustment screws on the back of the headlights. Your friend should have known this. I guaranty that you are blinding the hell out of everyone who's driving in the other direction. Get that taken care of ASAP

start thinking of overly-obvious stuff and you will find you answer.hint/start with headlight adjustment.

Also if you didn't replace the halogen projectors with the HID ones the cutoff will not be as good. But with adjustment you should be OK...
