2006 G35x Auto Transmission Gremlins - need help

I have an '06 awd automatic trans with 38K miles. I have recently been experiencing a shuddering when shifting manually between 2nd and 3rd gear. The car is under warranty so I took it to Ray Catena Infiniti and took a ride with the tech and was able to reproduce the jolt 2 times.

They had the car 2 days and said that the shuddering between 2 and 3 gear when manually shifting is normal. They took out another of the same year and said it does the same thing. I don't believe them b/c the car did not do that when I brought brand new in December 06.

I am supposed to speak to svc. manager tomorrow. Are they telling me right? Please give me your thoughts as I go to the dealer tomorrow.

Meet with the manager tomorrow to see what he says. Then call in a complaint to Infiniti.

I plan to speak with the Service Mgr. tomorrow. If I don't like what he has to say considering that I know how the car has been operating for the past 38k - then I will escalate matters.

It just seems awfully strange that this should start happening now. Plus, I don't drive the car hard.
