Post

Hey guys,

First post. Great forums, love the oil debate thread and the low-budget audio for Bose systems. BTW, I use Mobile1 for the last 15+ years with the mobile1 oil-filter.

My question...which I searched for and could not find. Sorry if there is already a post but I did search...I promise

I have a 2006 g35 Sedan non-Bose that I have blown the the right front speaker. I need to replace it so I was looking for others that have faced a similar task. I guess I'm trying to do a Low-Budget non-Bose Head unit speaker upgrade.

1. I want to keep the head unit and not add an amp. I know...I know... I'm cheap.2. What is the "Stock" RMS on the non-Bose so I can match the RMS on the four 6 1/2's

Hopefully I missed a thread on this and some can point me in the right direction, but if this is a new question to the community, I'd like to thank you in advance for your replies.

All you need is a pair of line output converters to plug rca cables in and amplify a nice setup of Infinity Kappas. If you don't want to amplify them just buy some new ones, the non-bose HU is very powerful, I tested it with my kappas before I hooked up the 4 channel amp to them to obviously get way more power. I have infinity kappas 3ways in the rear and kappa perfect components in the front, amplified by a 4 channel alpine amp. Sounds WWAAAAYYYYY better than factory, using the factory HU to avoid breakins.
