My undercarriage apron has been torn from hitting parking block (previous owner) the tire shop simply removed the balance of apron because the wind was catching it and making loud wind noises. Does anyone know if it is important i find a new apron? Used so far has been difficult to find and the price new is outrageous for a piece of plastic.

There are metals ones available on the aftermarket that do well. I replaced mine pretty quickly on my coupe but still have it on the sedan. If interested see if Tollboothwilley has one for your car: https://www.facebook.com/TBWperformance/

It is important when driving in heavy rain to prevent water damage to electrical components and sensors
